The Gower Apothecary is located at The Gower Heritage Centre at Parkmill in beautiful Gower, Swansea. It has been set up to research alternative healing in Gower and the wider Swansea area with help from grants via Swansea City Council, The Gower Society and Keep Wales Tidy. We are particulary interested in the use of medicinal plants and trees, folk cures and folk health and protection charms.

Our aim is to preserve the culture and heritage of herbal medicine through education, talks and workshops.

We deliver workshops, talks, educational and well-being events from the Apothecary using medicinal plants and herbs from our own apothecary garden.
